SILVERTON LAND USE CODE
ADOPTED!

Starting in 2023, the Town of Silverton  launched an effort to overhaul its Land Use Code (LUC). The LUC is the set of regulations that guide how development should occur in our community. It is also one of the primary tools used to implement The Compass Project—the comprehensive plan for the Town of Silverton. The Land Use Code was adopted on 2nd reading January 27, 2025 and will take effect February 27, 2025.

The LUC update was a major undertaking that required input from and collaboration among a wide range of community interests. Developers, business owners, and homeowners interested in how the new Code might affect their project or property should reach out to the Community Development Director, Lucy Mulvihill at lmulvihill@silverton.co.us
